Dominique Wooding Meets Dean Garnett At ACB 87

Two of the UK’s premier bantamweights Dominique Wooding and Dean Garnett will meet inside the ACB cage on May 19 in Nottingham at ACB 87.

Wooding (4-1) is coming off the back of a stoppage win over Dominic Dillon at BAMMA 34 two weeks ago. “Black Panther” is considered one of the biggest prospects on the UK domestic scene and has already competed for BAMMA gold against the vastly more experienced Andy Young. Wooding went on to lose that fight, but he’s still making big improvements and is currently riding a two fight win streak.

Garnett (9-2-1) will carry a big experience advantage into the cage, but is currently riding a two fight losing streak. The Liverpudlian has dropped his last two to Magomed Magomedov and Anthony Leone fighting in ACB overseas, but he will now look to return to winning ways when he takes on Wooding in Nottingham.

ACB 87 will be headlined by Rob Whiteford taking on Kane Mousah, but over the past few days the promotion have announced some more big names including the likes of Scott Askham, Pietro Menga, Tekaya Mizugaki and Azi Thomas.
