While competing in MMA, Danis is probably more known for two other aspects. The first is his long and storied career in grappling, as he has competed at many of the best and biggest grappling and BJJ tournaments available. The second aspect is that Danis is a friend and training partner of Conor McGregor, and many see similarities in the way the two carry themselves. Since his pro debut in Bellator Danis has won both of his fights via submission in the first round.
Butler made his pro debut in 2014 and has fought under the Bellator banner several times, holding a 1-5 record in the promotion. After a rocky start to his MMA career, he now sits on a three fight winning streak. All three victories have come via finish, and the latest against Emilio Williams at Bellator 228.
