Darren Till Voices Discontent Over Misfits Boxing’s PRIME Card Outcomes
In a candid revelation, UFC star Darren Till expressed his discontent with the performances at Misfits Boxing’s PRIME Card event, particularly criticizing the main and co-main events featuring KSI, Tommy Fury, Logan Paul, and Dillon Danis.
The event, held this past Saturday, drew significant attention with high-profile bouts, notably KSI vs. Tommy Fury and Logan Paul vs. Dillon Danis. However, it ended in anti-climax as Fury clinched a majority decision in a lackluster fight against KSI, and Danis bizarrely got disqualified for an unlawful guillotine attempt on Paul.
Darren Till, present at the event, shared his unfiltered views on Monday’s ‘The MMA Hour’.
“It was everything I expected,” Till remarked, particularly unimpressed by Danis’s performance. He asserted, “He [Danis] wanted to disqualify himself… he can’t box. He physically and mentally cannot box.”
Till extended his criticism to Logan Paul, dismissing his boxing skills and power. However, he acknowledged Paul’s athletic prowess, especially in WWE, distinguishing it from genuine boxing finesse.
While Jake Paul received slight commendation for his power and dedication to boxing, Till was forthright about the others.
“It just wasn’t any good,” he admitted, expressing disappointment over Tommy Fury’s repetitive strategy against KSI and questioning his suitability for the sport.
Despite his harsh critique, Till recognized the event’s high production values and entertaining undercard bouts. As he anticipates a potential transition to boxing through Misfits, following his UFC departure, Till confidently stated,
“I can fucking box… I don’t even look at these guys like a challenge.” He views future bouts as lucrative opportunities, expressing minimal concern about facing any of the PRIME Card participants.
