Darren Till Blasts ‘Internet Fighters’ Who Had a Problem with His Sparring Footage
Darren Till doesn’t mind sharing his sparring footage ahead of a fight but he’ll be damned if he’s going to hear criticism about how he trains with his teammates.
On Tuesday, Till released a video that showed him in the midst of a sparring session that ends with him connecting with a punch that drops his training partner to the mat.
Till is just weeks away from headlining the first ever UFC card in his hometown of Liverpool, England so obviously he’s ratcheting up the intensity in all of his training sessions to prepare for a showdown with former two-time title contender Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson.
After releasing the footage from his training session, Till received criticism for perceived bullying of his sparring partner as well as further remarks about going that hard just weeks away from his fight in Liverpool.
Till clapped back at critics in a fiery post on Wednesday where he took aim at the people who seemed to have a problem with his sparring session footage.
“For all you dumb c–ts commenting on my previous video talking s–t, saying that it’s bullying,” Till said on Instagram. “Giving my training partner s–t saying he is not worthy to be in there with me! We had a good few rounds together were he gave me a smack and I gave him one, it was a hard day and I feel I have it my all and that previous video was a good clip of me landing some shots.
“All you internet fighters haven’t got a f–king clue so stick to internet fighting and leave the real fighting to us! Here is a video which I posted last December of me taking a smack! I post when I’m hitting and I post when I’m taking a smack, so keep talking s–t!”
Till will wrap up his training camp soon as he prepares for the May 27 fight against “Wonderboy” in a five round bout in the welterweight division as the UFC comes to Liverpool for the first time ever.
