Pereira’s Flexibility Impresses White

Alex Pereira has been making waves with his willingness to fight across multiple weight classes, impressing UFC President Dana White. White praised Pereira’s readiness to face any opponent, stating,

Heavyweight Ambitions and Challenges

Pereira has also expressed interest in moving up to heavyweight, but White is cautious about this idea.

White stated, “It’s not that I’m not into it, the guy was a middleweight, then moves up to light heavyweight… but it’s not like this guy has been in the division for two years and he ran through everyone that’s in the division.” White noted that if Pereira wants to pursue heavyweight, it would take time, and at age 37, time is not on his side. “All these guys are battling time… We’ll see what happens over the next couple of months.”

“Pereira wants to fight everybody. I love it. How can you not like a guy who accepts a fight when he’s on vacation? Everything about Alex Pereira is what makes fans absolutely love the guy.”
