Dana White: Offer made for Conor McGregor vs Dustin Poirier 2 in UFC
According to UFC president Dana White, Conor McGregor vs Dustin Poirier 2 can happen in the octagon.
This came not long after that McGregor openly on social media offered Poirier a rematch for charity outside of the UFC. Recently both McGregor and Poirier have been displeased with the UFC’s financial offers and negotiation techniques. Poirier ended up not accepting a planned fight with Tony Ferguson at UFC 254, and McGregor released private messages between him and White as a response to the UFC president’s claims of the Irishman turning down fights.
However now in an interview with Barstool sports, White claims to have offered both McGregor and Poirier a rematch in the UFC.
If it’s a fight @TheNotoriousMMA wants, it seems to be a fight he’ll get.@DanaWhite tells @RobbieBarstool that an offer has officially been made to Conor McGregor & Dustin Poirier (@DustinPoirier) for a fight inside the UFC. They are currently waiting to hear back. pic.twitter.com/cOXKZ8FAPu
