Dana White Hails Daniel Cormier As ‘The Baddest Light Heavyweight Champion Of All Time’
UFC President Dana White has handed his UFC light heavyweight champion, Daniel Cormier, quite the compliment ahead of his TUF Season 27 premiere this evening.
A teaser clip for the first episode of the season features White standing in the middle of the season coaches UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic and Cormier.
White, who is addressing the season 27 contestants, turns to his right to firstly introduce Miocic as “the baddest heavyweight of all time,” and then to his left to say “the baddest, in my opinion, the baddest light heavyweight champion of all time, Daniel Cormier.”

Is this a shot at Jon Jones? Who knows.
White has rarely spoken about Jones since his second alleged violation of the USADA testing program. Back in February, White told TMZ Sports that he had spoken to Jones for the first time in a long time and that Jones was saying he was intending to return to the Octagon sooner rather than later.
“That would be great,” White said a potential 2018 comeback.
“Jon and I talked yesterday for the first time since his last fight.
“He sounds good, he says he’s looking at positive things right now, just focusing on training.
“He wants to come back.”
Cormier and Miocic will of course meet inside the Octagon at UFC 226 on July 7 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. In White’s mind at least, that fight will ultimately determine who is the baddest man on the planet?
