Conor McGregor warns Nurmagomedov for ‘Covid cover up’: “Allah sees all”
Whether Conor McGregor is truly retired or not, his feud with Khabib Nurmagomedov and his team continues. Things have now gotten to the point where McGregor claims that the reports of Khabib’s father Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov being in a coma due to covid-19 is a cover up. Last month Abdulmanap reportedly fell ill from Covid-19. His condition was so serious that he was put into a medically induced coma, luckily recovering later. This is now something disputed by McGregor.
It began when Khabib’s cousin Abubakar Nurmagomedov made a now-deleted post on Instagram, mocking McGregor. The post showed the Irishman stuck in a neck crank during his battle with Khabib at UFC 229, along with the caption: “This is like the Coronavirus. You can’t breathe.”

The post was deleted by Abubakar, but McGregor had enough time to respond, posting the following claim of a Covid-19 cover up.
“I figured it was all just a cover up about Abdulmanap. A cover up to hide the lack of activity and the pulling out of fights and running away. Good luck but remember – Allah sees all,” McGregor replied.
Khabib and his team assaulted McGregor and his cornermen following UFC 229, earning all parties involved suspensions. The bad blood that began between the two teams long before their bout still runs deep, apparently. Both sides have sniped at the other when presented an opportunity, such as when McGregor mocked Abubakar for losing his UFC debut.
Regardless Abdulmanap’s health status, one thing is for certain: McGregor and Nurmagomedov certainly aren’t ready to bury the hatchet.
