Conor McGregor Takes Shots at Both Tony Ferguson and Max Holloway

Conor McGregor issued a pair of messages to Tony Ferguson and Max Holloway after recent posts on Twitter

Conor McGregor still hasn’t booked his return fight to the UFC but he had something to say to two of his biggest detractors in recent months.

McGregor took to Twitter over the weekend where he issued responses to both interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson and reigning featherweight king Max Holloway.

The shot at Ferguson came after he tagged McGregor on Twitter with a video showing him hitting a speed bag with a message that said “quit jocking my style”. That earned a response from McGregor who simply told Ferguson ‘you’re a sad bastard, mate”.

As for Holloway, McGregor’s message to him came after the featherweight champion paid homage to Frankie Edgar for accepting a fight at UFC 222 after he suffered an injury, which then resulted in a knockout loss to Brian Ortega.

McGregor didn’t seem to like the fact that Holloway was being kind to Edgar after he dropped out of their fight due to injury.

“Kid, you bounced, leave it,” McGregor wrote.

That message was received by Holloway, who had one of his own for McGregor in return.

McGregor’s return will be huge no matter who he faces but he certainly has no shortage of rivals with both Ferguson and Holloway on a short list of competitors who could easily face off with the Irishman later this year.
