Conor McGregor Posts Response To Bellator Cage Invasion: ‘F*** Yous All’

Conor McGregor has posted an angry response following his invasions of the Bellator cage

UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor has reacted to the criticism he has received for invading the Bellator MMA cage on Friday night at Bellator 187.

McGregor was sat cageside watching his friend Charlie Ward take on John Redmond in he second fight of the evening in the 3 Arena in Dublin when the incident took place.

After a gruelling back and forth round where the two fighters spent most the time clinched up against the cage, Ward landed a flurry with just a few seconds left in the round and Redmond dropped to the mat seemingly out of  it.

McGregor then hopped the fence to celebrate with Ward, but referee Marc Goddard had yet to signal that the fight was over.

Officials then tried to remove McGregor from the cage, but the Irishman reacted angrily to Goddard putting his hands on him and all hell broke loose.

The Irishman chased Goddard across the cage, pushed him while he stood over the downed Redmond, and then proceeded to strike out a member of the commission when he was  eventually removed from the cage.

It was a frenetic scene and the world responded angrily at McGregor’s actions on social media. This morning, McGregor posted his response on Twitter and then shortly after deleted it.

“Bloke KO’d on floor bout a minute straight anencephaly ref trying to say fights not over Conor. That’s when I lost it. F*** yous all.

Neither Bellator MMA or the UFC have issued a statement about the incident.
