Conor McGregor makes Mike Tyson an unexpected promise
After expressing gratitude, UFC superstar Conor McGregor also made former world heavyweight boxing champ “Iron” Mike Tyson a promise that many weren’t expecting.
Say what you will about his colourful personality or pre-fight antics, “The Notorious” Conor McGregor is a bonafide MMA superstar. Nobody has transcended the sport the way the Irish former UFC champion has, as he has reached mainstream attention that no other MMA fighter has seen. Obviously his talent inside the cage has backed up his many cocky claims, and he once held UFC double champ status with title at both featherweight and lightweight.
McGregor’s fantastic ascent through the ranks caught the attention of many. One of those who did was former world heavyweight boxing champion “Iron” Mike Tyson – Who is also an avid MMA fan.
Recently on Tyson’s podcast Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson, where UFC heavyweight Francis Ngannou took part, the former boxing champion praised McGregor’s effort in boxing against Floyd Mayweather Jr. The acclaim reached McGregor, who took to Twitter to thank Tyson, and make him a promise.

I promise my life on it.
