Conor McGregor attacked with bottle at Moscow press conference
UFC superstar Conor McGregor is still in Moscow, as a representative for betting partner Parimatch. A large pres conference was held yesterday, which had several takeaways. At a separate Parimatch press event, things got heated as one spectator took offence for comments McGregor had made about Dagestan. As the exchange between McGregor and the spectator got more heated, the man in the agitated audience member threw a bottle at the former UFC champion.
“You are a coward,” yelled the spectator.
“Shut the fuck up you fool,” McGregor responded.
McGregor managed to dodge the thrown bottle, and the agitated audience member was escorted away by security.

McGregor’s arch rival Khabib Nurmagomedov hails from Dagestan – an autonomous region of Russia with a instances of unrest with the Russian government. Ahead of McGregor and Nurmagomedov’s title bout at UFC 229, there was a series of aggressive incidents and exchanges that marred the entire event. It would seem that tensions are still high between both sides.
Since then, after a series of other controversies in McGregor’s personal life, he will return to the cage. This was the biggest takeaway from yesterdays press conference in Moscow in which McGregor announced his UFC return.
