Two title fights announced for UFC 311 in Los Angeles!

The reigning UFC bantamweight champion, Merab Dvalishvili, is set to defend his title for the first time at UFC 311, taking place in Los Angeles, California. The Georgian star will face undefeated UFC standout Umar Nurmagomedov in the co-main event. In the main event, lightweight champion Islam Makhachev will square off against Armenian contender Arman Tsarukyan.

Dvalishvili is riding an impressive 11-fight win streak in the UFC, showcasing his dominance in the bantamweight division. His latest victory came against Sean O’Malley at UFC 306 in September this year, where he delivered a dominant performance. Prior to that, the 33-year-old defeated former double champion Henry Cejudo via unanimous decision in one of his most high-profile wins.

Nurmagomedov’s Path to Glory

Umar Nurmagomedov has remained unbeaten in the UFC, with a perfect 5-0 record since his debut against Sergey Morozov. His most recent win came against top bantamweight contender Cory Sandhagen at UFC on ABC 7 earlier this summer. Nurmagomedov secured a unanimous decision victory after five hard-fought rounds, cementing his position as a top contender in the division.

Star-Studded Main Card

Former light heavyweight champion Jiri Procházka is also set to compete on this stacked card. Procházka will take on Jamahal Hill in a pivotal light heavyweight matchup. Procházka is coming off a brutal knockout loss to reigning champion Alex Pereira at UFC 303. However, he previously showcased his resilience by defeating top contender Aleksandar Rakic at UFC 300.
