Colby Covington BANNED from radio show following verbal attack

✅ Colby Covington is staying controversial and just recently lived up to his persona by getting banned from Miesha Tate's radio show

Recently it’s been hard to read MMA headlines without Colby Covington in them, and he’s doing his best to stay in them. After defeating former UFC champ Robbie Lawler via dominant decision, he was scheduled to guest the “MMA Tonight” show on Sirius XM. That radio show would end up getting cut short after several verbal attacks.

The tempo began to shift when radio host Miesha Tate, former UFC champion, questioned Covington’s controversial way of promoting his fights. He then went off at Tate, saying things about her like claiming that she “got famous off losing to my girl Ronda Rousey” and “putting pictures on the internet.” – a reference to nude pictures of Tate that leaked online, an occurrence that was hard for her to deal with.

“I don’t even know what to say”

These statements flabbergasted Tate.

“I don’t even know what to say right now,” she said. “It’s kind of crazy that you would go on that level just because I have an opinion, that you as an American should have respect for the fact that at least I have the balls to say it to your face, and that’s my opinion, and I’m entitled to it. I did not put you down as a person. You put me down as a person.”

The show co-host Ryan McKinnell defended Tate, saying the Covington was acting “uncivil.

“That’s a low blow,” he said. “That’s personal.”

“I came on the show to give you the best ratings you’re ever going to get,” Covington responded.

Covington fired more shots at at the radio hosts before the broadcast was cut off and McKinnell proclaimed that Covington would never appear on the show ever again.

Any way you look at it, and regardless of how you see him, Covington knows how to play the game and stay in the headlines.
