Carlos Condit returns, faces Neil Magny at UFC 219 in Las Vegas
“The Natural Born Killer” Carlos Condit is back.
Just weeks after Condit asked matchmaker Sean Shelby for an opponent before the end of the year, the former interim welterweight champion is set to face Neil Magny at UFC 219 on Dec. 30.

Condit has been out of action since August 2016 when he suffered a submission loss to Demian Maia that left him teetering on the brink of retirement.
Condit has largely disappeared off the radar since then but just recently he began appearing at training sessions more regularly before declaring that he was ready to book another fight inside the Octagon.
Now he returns for a fight on Dec. 30 against a top 10 ranked opponent in Magny, who is looking for arguably the biggest win of his career when he faces Condit at UFC 219.
Most recently, Magny fell by submission to former lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos at UFC 215 but he’ll look for redemption while facing Condit later this year.
UFC 219 takes place on Dec. 30 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas with a main event still to be determined for the card.
