BREAKING ODDS for Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Tony Ferguson!
This weekend’s UFC 242 saw Khabib Nurmagomedov unify the lightweight titles and remain undefeated. He did this by submitting Dustin Poirier in the third round of their title boutt. While Conor McGregor has thrown his name into the mix, UFC president Dana White remains clear: Tony Ferguson will be offered the next title shot at lightweight. As of yet the fight is far from booked, but it’s apparent that this is the direction the UFC want to pursue first. Now, Ohmbet have released odds for Nurmagomedov vs Ferguson.

The odds Ohmbet have released show Nurmagomedov as betting favourite at 1.38, against Ferguson’s 3-0 – a clear underdog. Though both have 12 fight winning streaks, Nurmagomedov remains undefeated at 28-0. Ferguson last fought in June of this year, defeating Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone via TKO. Ferguson has however had a string of bad luck, only fighting three times in as many years. Injury has been the main culprit, even forcing him out of a planned title fought with Nurmagomedov at UFC 223.
While Ferguson without a doubt should be the fighter to challenge Nurmagomedov next, the bout between them has been cancelled four times. Hopefully fifth time will be the charm.
Who wins: Khabib Nurmagomedov or Tony Ferguson?
