Last week, it was confirmed that top-ranked UFC star Khamzat Chimaev would not be competing at UFC on ABC 6. The 29-year-old was initially set to face former champion Robert Whittaker in the main event. However, Chimaev had to withdraw due to illness. As a result, Whittaker will now fight UFC prospect Ikram Aliskerov instead.

UFC talent Bo Nickal took the opportunity to criticize Chimaev following the news of his withdrawal. Nickal, who has challenged Chimaev several times, did not hold back his opinion.

– “That guy has lost his aura. He needs to keep winning and not mess around like this. Don’t get sick. I don’t think he trains too much; he might party too much. But I don’t know. What else could it be? I’ve heard crazy rumors about him and Darren Till,” Nickal commented.

In the co-main event, top-ranked Russian heavyweights Sergei Pavlovich and Alexander Volkov will face off. This fight marks Pavlovich’s return after his knockout loss to Tom Aspinall at UFC 295. Volkov, meanwhile, is riding a three-fight win streak, including a submission victory over Tai Tuivasa.
