Anastasia Yankova Faces Kate Jackson At Bellator 200

The Bellator 200 continues to take shop and the latest bout to be added to the card is a women’s flyweight fight between Anastasia Yankova and Kate Jackson.

The bout was originally reported by MMA Junkie on Tuesday morning.

Yankova (5-0) is unbeaten as professional and has three wins under the Bellator banner with victories over Anjela Pink, Veta Arteaga and Elina Kallionidou. The Russian hasn’t fought since April last year but has spent the past few months out in Thailand training at AKA Thailand. Yankova will now look to show the improvements she’s made when she takes on Jackson in her own backyard.

Jackson (9-3-1) is a veteran of TUF season 23 and fought her way through to the semi-finals of the competition. The Brit ultimately lost to the season winner Tatiana Suarez, but never received an opportunity to claim a spot on the roster. Since being on TUF, Jackson has gone 2-1 with wins over Bryony Tyrell and Colleen Schneider. Jackson lost her last bout to Valerie Letourneau at Bellator 191 in Newcastle, England last December.
