Ex-UFC fighter Abel Trujillo arrested on child pornography charges
After being arrested on the charges he has, it’s unlikely we will be seeing Abel Trujillo in the UFC octagon again soon.
Former UFC fighter Abel Trujillo has been arrested on on charges of sexual exploitation of a child and obscenity, both of which are felonies. Trujillo s being held at The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Detention Facility in Colorado on a 10,000 bond. TSN were first to report the news. If convicted he faces a maximum of 18 months in prison a maximum fine of $100,000 per charge.
This is not Trujillo’s first run in with the law. In 2007 and 2009 he pleaded guilty to domestic abuse charges against the mother of his child.

Trujillo has been inactive since December 2017. De debuted in the UFC in 2012, and holds notable wins over Jamie Varner and Roger Bowling. After back-to-back losses to James Vick and John Makdessi, Trujillo seemingly parted with the UFC. He was booked to face Will Brooks at Battlefield FC 2 on July 27th, but was replaced by Gleison Tibau.
