Jose Aldo vs. Renato Moicano Set for UFC on ESPN+ Card in Brazil

Aldo bounced back from two losses to current featherweight king Max Holloway in his last fight as he earned a thrilling knockout against Jeremy Stephens back in July.
The legendary former champion could find himself playing spoiler this time around as he takes on one of the fastest rising contenders in the featherweight division in his next fight in 2019.
Moicano has been on a very impressive run since joining the UFC roster with wins in five of his first six fights with his only setback coming in a ‘Fight of the Night’ performance against former title contender Brian Ortega.
Most recently, Moicano dispatched veteran featherweight Cub Swanson with a first round rear naked choke to win a ‘Performance of the Night’ bonus in August.
A win over Aldo would almost assuredly earn Moicano a shot at Holloway and the featherweight title later next year.
Aldo vs. Moicano will serve as the co-main event in the UFC’s return to Fortaleza, Brazil with bantamweights Marlon Moraes and Raphael Assuncao headlining the card in a title eliminator main event.
