I lost out on a lot of opportunity

Jared Gordon was upset about his loss to Paddy Pimblett in UFC 282, as he believed he had won the fight. Despite being the underdog, Gordon controlled the majority of the exchanges with Pimblett and landed his combinations effectively.
The action slowed in the third round due to an ankle injury that Gordon suffered in the first round, but he still felt confident that he did enough to win the fight.
The judges’ scorecards all read 29-28 in favor of Pimblett, and Gordon believes the decision was one of the worst in UFC history.
He said,
“It’s got to be top three worst decisions ever in UFC history, I would imagine at this point. I lost out on a lot of opportunity. Money, I lost out on a contract. I lost out on everything.”
