Blachowicz is currently enjoying the best run of his UFC career after four straight wins including wins over Jimi Manuwa and Nikita Krylov in consecutive fights.
The Polish light heavyweight has also racked up three post fight bonuses during those four wins including a ‘Fight of the Night’ award as well as two ‘Performance of the Night’ honors.
Now he’ll face a former middleweight wrecking machine, who is making his third straight appearance at 205 pounds.
Santos has enjoyed new life at light heavyweight with two wins in a row in the division including a stunning a second round knockout against Jimi Manuwa at UFC 231 in December.
The heavy-handed Brazilian will make a quick turn around to jump into the main event for the UFC’s debut card in Prague where he will face Blachowicz in February.
