Jimmie Rivera
Jimmie “El Terror” Ernesto Rivera is an American mixed martial artist born on the 29th of June 1989. He is of Peurto Rican descent and competes in the bantamweight division.
Rivera has been training at Tiger Schulmann’s gym since he was a young kid and has a third degree black belt in Tiger Schulmann MMA.
Jimmie Rivera’s career before the UFC
Jimmie Rivera made his amateur MMA debut in 2007 and won by rear naked choke. His second amateur fight ended in the same fashion.
His pro MMA debut came in 2008 at Ring of Combat 21 and Rivera won by unanimous decision. He lost his second fight by split decision against Jason McLean. Rivera kept winning until he in 2011 got the chance to be a contestant on The Ultimate Fighter.

Jimmie Rivera fought Dennis “The Menace” Bermudez in the elimination fight to get into the house. Rivera lost by TKO in the second round.
Rivera went back to the regional scene and won eight straight fights before signing with the UFC.

Jimmie Rivera’s UFC debut came against Marcus Brimage at UFC Fight Night 72 – Bisping vs. Leites. Rivera won by KO in the first round. Rivera has won five fights in the UFC, notably beating legend Urijah Faber, Pedro Munhoz and Thomas Almeida.
