Video: Pros react to Askren’s brutal KO loss, Jones’ close win
The much anticipated grudge match between Ben Askren and Jorge Masvidal finally took place this weekend at UFC 239 – living up to every bit of intensity during the buildup. Masvidal charged forward with a flying knee in the opening seconds of the fight, landing the attack perfectly, and finishing Askren in just 5 seconds.

Many fighters took to Twitter afterwards to praise Masvidal – and some to rub salt in Askren’s wounds.
Pros and media members alike also voiced their opinions on Jon Jones’ close titel fight with Thiago Santos. The Brazilian did enough to win on one of the judges scorecards.
Amanda Nunes knocked Holly Holm out in the first round, for many cementing her status as the greatest female MMA fighter of all time.
