MMAnytt Focus: Damir Hadzovic – Episode 1: ‘The Hell Hour’
After the success of the previous version of MMAnytt Focus with top Swedish bantamweight and The Ultimate Fighter 28 contestant Pannie “Banzai” Kianzad, the series is back, this time with “The Bosnian Bomber” Damir Hadzovic who represents Denmark and Arte Suave.
We met up with Hadzovic in Copenhagen, Denmark as he prepares for his fight against home town fighter Nick “The Sergeant” Hein at UFC Fight Night 134: Shogun vs. Smith – or UFC Hamburg as it’s also called.
After a strength and conditioning workout at The Butcher’s Lab with trainer and former MMA fighter Henrik Affe, we headed over to Hope restaurant in central Copenhagen for a quick meal and a chat.

Hadzovic is 1-2 in the UFC and had a rough start to his UFC career as he made his debut against surging contender Mairbek Taisumov – and followed that up with an impressive come-from-behind knockout victory over Marcin Held.
