Darren Till missed weight on Saturday but he was able to stay under 188 pounds on Sunday so his main event fight against Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson moves forward for the main event at UFC Fight Night in Liverpool.

Till stepped onto the scale at 187.3 pounds at 1 p.m. to make his fight against Thompson official for the event taking place in England later today.

Till’s weight became the biggest story of the weekend after the undefeated welterweight prospect came in at 174.5 pounds — three and a half pounds over the limit for a non-title fight.

After missing weight on Saturday, Thompson’s team agreed to take the fight with Till under two separate conditions. First, Till has to surrender 30-percent of his fight purse and then he also had to stay under 188 pounds for a second weigh-in on Sunday.

Till typically walks around at more than 200 pounds so there was concern about his ability to make weight again on Sunday but now that worry has been set aside as the main event is official for the first ever UFC card in Liverpool.
