As the UFC 226 pre-fight press conference came to an end, Daniel Cormier suffered a scary fall that saw the light heavyweight champion trip and drop to the floor on the stage.
The incident unfolded just seconds after the press conference wrapped as Cormier reportedly tripped over a speaker that was planted near his seat.
As the video shows, Cormier tripped and fell backwards before being helped up by UFC president Dana White and UFC officials on stage.
Cormier was seen visibly limping afterwards but returned a few seconds later for a face off with heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic.
Cormier later offered an update that he’s feeling fine and ready to go for the main event on Saturday night against Miocic at UFC 226.
