Daniel Cormier Receives Hero’s Welcome Returning to ‘UFC Tonight’ as Double Champ

UFC heavyweight and light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier receives a very warm welcome back as he returns to 'UFC Tonight'

Daniel Cormier returned to work on Wednesday for the latest episode of “UFC Tonight” on FS1 and he received a hero’s welcome when stepping back into the FOX Sports building.

Cormier, who is a regular co-host on the UFC show, became the second fighter in history to hold two titles simultaneously when he knocked out Stipe Miocic at UFC 226 to become heavyweight champion after already holding the light heavyweight title.

Since that time, Cormier has been on a whirlwind media tour while also taking some much needed time to spend with his family after the fight.

Now Cormier is back to work at “UFC Tonight” but the double champ got quite a surprise walking back into the FOX building with the cast and crew including talking heads Colin Cowherd and Jason Whitlock in attendance to welcome him back.

Check out the video above with Cormier returning to FOX for the first time since winning his second UFC title.
