Daniel Cormier Offers Brock Lesnar Advice If He Makes an Appearance at UFC 230

Daniel Cormier heard that Brock Lesnar may be in attendance at UFC 230 on Saturday night and he has some advice for the WWE superstar if he makes an appearance.

Daniel Cormier didn’t enjoy his last confrontation with Brock Lesnar so he’s offering the WWE superstar some friendly advice if he decides to make an appearance at UFC 230.

Cormier is just days away from his heavyweight title defense against Derrick Lewis in New York but there have been persistent rumors that Lesnar may show up to sit cage side where he would be expected to challenge the winner.

It’s tough to say for certain if Lesnar would actually go to UFC 230 considering he’s performing in Saudi Arabia on Friday as part of the WWE’s controversial ‘Crown Jewel’ show so he’d have to fly halfway around the world to make it to New York in time for the fight.

The last time Lesnar appeared at a UFC show, he came into the cage to confront Cormier after he earned a first round knockout against Stipe Miocic back in July. Rather than go for the customary face off, Lesnar actually shoved Cormier and security had to quickly intervene before the situation erupted.

That’s why Cormier is sending Lesnar a message before any potential confrontation this time around.

“This time I will advise him to stay out of the Octagon,” Cormier said on Wednesday during the UFC 230 open workouts. “Because last time he pushed me across the cage and I hate that visual. I hate that that’s the visual that’s going to be shown in the build up to our fight.

“This time I will buckle my heels into the mat and I will be ready to push him or smack him upside his head.”

Lesnar is expected to make his official return to the UFC in early 2019 after closing out his contract with WWE a few months ago. He did sign on for a special appearance at the show in Saudi Arabia with reports saying Lesnar will earn more than a $1 million for that one match.

Following that performance, Lesnar is expected to shift his entire focus back on mixed martial arts as he prepares for his return to the UFC in 2019.
