UFC BETS – BETTING TIPS FOR UFC 271
In less than 24 hours it’s time for the re-match between the dominant middleweight champion Israel “The Last Stylebender” Adesanya and the former champion Robert “The Reaper” Whittaker.
Since the loss to Adesanya at UFC 243, Whittaker has won three consecutive wins – all against top-ranked opponents. “The Reapers” only loss in the middleweight division has come against none other than the bitter rival Adesanya.
Adesanya is so far undefeated in the middleweight division and his only loss in the UFC came via the former light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz at 205lb, who had a massive size advantage. Since then, Adesanya has managed to prove that he is still the king in the middleweight division with a title defense against top-ranked Marvin Vettori.
Adesanya knocked out Whittaker in their first bout early on, the coach now says that he wants to see the current middleweight champion dominate in five rounds to prove once and for all that it is “The Last Stylebender” who is the most skilled fighter in that weight class!

Whittaker has looked incredibly sharp since they fought – but Adesanya is a unique challenge
Since the loss to Adesanya, Whittaker has managed to line up three straight wins against dangerous fighters: Darren Till, Jared Cannonier and Kelvin Gastelum. However, none of these fighters are on the same level as “The Last Stylebender”, at least when the fight takes place standing.
Adesanya’s striking is a unique challenge for Whittaker, and if “The Reaper” does not implement the wrestling, it could be another early end to the re-match!
Adesanya has incredible takedown defense in middleweight division!
After the loss against Blachowicz, many people thought that the strategy to defeat Adesanya was obvious, but Adesanya completely squashed that theory in the fight against Vettori! The takedown defense has generally looked incredibly good in the middleweight division, where he does not meet opponents with a size or weight advantage over him, it’s hard to take him down.
If the fight ends up standing, it is most likely that Adesanya will win, but if he takes his time, it could be a dominant display at UFC 271!
