Alex Pereira Eyes Next Opponent After UFC 303 Victory
“Talk to Dana White”
Reigning UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira secured another stunning victory at UFC 303 this past weekend. In a dominant performance, Pereira knocked out Ji?í Procházka early in the second round. This win marks Pereira’s fourth consecutive victory since his loss to Israel Adesanya at UFC 287.
Post-Fight Hints and Future Plans
Post-fight, Pereira hinted at potential future opponents, indicating he is open to fighting either Jamahal Hill or Magomed Ankalaev next. Regarding Ankalaev’s challenge, Pereira stated,
“Everyone deserves to fight me, but I am not the guy to ask. You need to talk to Dana White. I am ready for anyone.” He responded similarly to Hill’s challenge with a straightforward, “Okay.”
Since his UFC debut against Andreas Michailidis at UFC 268, Pereira has amassed eight wins in the top MMA organization, defeating five former UFC champions, including Sean Strickland and Jan Blachowicz.
@AlexPereiraUFC congratulations champ, I’m very impressed but the Boss @danawhite always says this is the sport of opportunities and all I want is an opportunity and I don’t need wrestling I have enough striking to test your chin. I believe I will knock you out. @Mickmaynard2
