BKFC: Mike Perry reveals the huge sum that Darren Till turned down.

"What is he doing?"

Mike Perry is now a bigger star than ever since leaving the UFC for BKFC.

“Platinum” Perry has had two high-profile fights against former UFC champions Luke Rockhold and Eddie Alvarez, but he has long been trying to get a fight with British fighter Darren Till.

Mike Perry and Darren Till have been bickering on social media for years, and it looked like they were going to fight in the BKFC ring. But “The Gorilla” Till turned it down despite the large sums of money on the table.

BKFC: Mike Perry vs. Darren Till

BKFC boss David Feldman had previously stated that he had offered Till a significant amount of money for the fight, but that he had been rejected. Feldman asserted that Till wanted to participate in a few boxing matches before facing Perry in BKFC.

When Perry visited The MMA Hour, he stated that Till had turned down an offer of two million dollars, which is almost 22 million SEK.

“What is he doing?” Perry said when talking about Till. “I know they made him a fucking offer. I respect that you don’t care about that kind of offer and that you want what you want. But that’s also the thing about BKFC: in the end, just take the gloves off.”

Test yourself. Test yourself for real. Test yourself right down to the bone. Skin and bone, baby, that’s what’s there. Test yourself.

Perry had expected his next fight to be against Till, but then he learned that the Briton had declined. Now Perry will face UFC veteran Thiago Alves at BKFC KnuckleMania IV on April 27.

Perry says he doesn’t understand what Till is doing. He still sends him private messages to meet, but still turns down real offers.

“People want that fight to happen, and it will happen,” Perry stated. “He’s still talking. He sends me private messages when he’s out drinking with his friends saying, ‘You’re s***, blah, blah, blah, blah,’ and talking s***.

I’m here. I’m in the stadium. I’m at the game. I have an event. I’m going to get this money, and you’re out there trying to make things happen. Just stop.

– Maybe he’s just too busy having fun in life, just f**king around. I’m too busy trying to get this money while I can, while I’m strong, heading into the peak of my athletic career. I use my time as wisely as possible to make it better for myself.

Till has not competed since December 2022, when he was finished by Dricus Du Plessis, his third straight loss and his fifth loss in six fights. He subsequently asked to be released from his UFC contract, saying he needed to focus on his injuries, among other things.
