UFC Chief EXPLODES at MMA Reporter: “GO F*CK YOURSELF”
In the world of mixed martial arts, controversy often matches the intensity of the fights themselves. The latest uproar comes from the UFC’s front office, where President Dana White has unleashed a verbal tirade against MMA Fighting reporter Guilherme Cruz. This incident was sparked by Cruz’s criticism regarding fight announcements that White had made, which, according to Cruz, were never officially confirmed.
Among these was the highly anticipated bout between Dustin Poirier (28-7, 1 NC) and Benoit Saint-Denis (10-1, 1 NC) at UFC 299, which Poirier initially claimed was canceled due to a misunderstanding with his manager, only to later retract his statement, calling it a big misunderstanding.
Dana White: “You guys in the media are such assholes. You write all the clickbait you can to be first, not to be right. That’s why NO ONE trusts or likes you.”
BSD' coach Daniel Woirin told me weeks ago they had no idea about the fight before it was announced by Dana. They loved it, sure, but were surprised by the announcement.

Guilherme Cruz: “Vicente Luque vs. Sean Brady, and now Dustin Poirier vs. Benoit Saint Denis. Two days in a row where fights announced by Dana White now are canceled because… Yeah, they were never really done deals.”

Cruz’s commentary did not sit well with White, who took to Instagram Stories to retaliate. He not only criticized the media’s approach to news but also personally targeted Cruz with a blunt message, further intensifying the ongoing debate about the relationship between the UFC and MMA journalism.
