Jon Jones “Concerned” – Former foe gets BRUTALLY knocked out AGAIN!

✔ Jones on Reyes: "I didn't take his confidence, in his mind he beat me. Maybe that's his problem." ✔ Reyes on fourth consecutive loss!

Dominick Reyes lost his fourth straight bout this past Saturday at UFC 281 to Ryan Spann. Jon Jones took to Twitter to express his feelings.

Reyes started his career out strong until he came up against Jon Jones at UFC 247. He lost in a controversial decision and has had three consecutive losses since. He suffered back-to-back knockout losses to Jan Blachowicz and Jiri Prochazka after losing to Jones. After taking some time off, his comeback was met by a swift knockout in Round 1 to Spann.

After the controversial loss at UFC 247, Reyes was very vocal about his disagreement with the decision, and the two fighters shared jabs on social media.

Jones hasn’t competed since his defeat of Reyes. He vacated his light heavyweight title over two years ago to make the switch to heavyweight, but is yet to make his divisional debut. UFC President Dana White expects to see Jones back in the octagon in the first quarter of 2023 in the heavyweight division.

The two fighters have continued to trade barbs, with Reyes questioning whether Jones would ever actually make his heavyweight debut. He told Jones to “get on the sidelines permanently or get in the game.”

Jones tweeted the same response back to Reyes in regard to his recent loss, saying “get on the sidelines permanently or get in the game.”

Jones tweeted again indicating that he thinks that it was the fact that Reyes refused to accept his defeat that has led to his current losses.

Jones continued, saying that he was “concerned for his health”.

It seems that the jabs between the two fighters are likely to continue to fly, but questions for the MMA community still remain:  Will Reyes be able to turn things around after this losing streak? Will Jones be back in the octagon next year?
