KSI scraps fight against pro boxer because of his “White Power” tattoo!
YouTuber-turned-boxer KSI has been forced to find a replacement for his opponent Ivan Nikolov due to a controversial tattoo.
YouTube star and rapper KSI will soon take on two opponents in one night when he enters the ring the 27th of August against first rapper Swarmz, then Mexican pro boxer Luis Alvarez Pineda. KSI was originally supposed to fight the Bulgarian boxer Nikolov in the final fight of the night, but the fight was cancelled after pictures of his opponent’s “White Power” tattoo started circulating online. Nikolov also has other distasteful tattoos inked on his body, such as a Schutzstaffel symbol on his right arm.
Nikolov has covered up the “White Power” tattoo since the pictures were taken, but despite his attempts to salvage the fight he lost out on the opportunity to compete against KSI. The 43 year old pro boxer has a previous record of sixteen defeats and only three victories. Pineda, who is 23 years of age, has a slightly more impressive record of 2-5, and will most likely prove to be a tougher challenge for KSI! Pineda aims to impress this weekend, and then move on to an even bigger name in the boxing world, none other than Jake Paul.

KSI has not stepped foot in the ring since his rematch against Logan Paul almost three years back. Both fighters had their moments throughout the bout, but it was KSI who stood as the victor by split decision when all was said and done. Now he hopes to defeat his opponents on the 27th of August, and follow it up by challenging Logan’s brother Jake to a superfight!
