Logan Paul itching for fight against Andrew Tate: “Has to go down”
YouTube boxer Jake Paul wants to see his brother Logan Paul face off against the controversial kickboxer Andrew Tate.
The 35 year old retired kickboxer Tate went from relatively obscure to internet famous in the span of only a few months. To say he is controversial would be a grave understatement. His abhorrent views on women and the world at large have caused a stir on social media sites such as TikTok. Though he doesn’t have an account on the site himself, his cult-like following have shared numerous TikToks of him which have spread like a wildfire, garnering billions of views. In his videos Tate promotes an extremely misogynistic world view: women belong in the home, should be made to listen, by force if necessary, and are the property of men. Perhaps not so surprisingly, many, predominantly younger men, idolize the self-proclaimed playboy, and his steadily expanding community has propelled him into the mainstream.
Last year, Tate offered YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake $3,000,000 for a sanctioned bout in the squared circle, after the latter’s call out of UFC superstar Conor McGregor; however, the fight never materialised.
“I made a video that called out Jake Paul,” Tate said previously on The Fellas podcast. “It’s on my YouTube channel. I called him out when he insulted Conor Mcgregor… When I made the video, I really disliked Jake Paul. Now I don’t dislike him; I understand him.”
“I want to make something clear, I would still kick the living fuck out of Jake Paul. I’m not some washed up UFC fighter. I’m not smaller than him. I would beat the living shit out of him, and if he wants to fight, I’ll fight him every day of the week.”

Now that Tate has positively exploded in popularity it seems that Paul vs. Tate could be a possibility after all, though it might end up being against a different Paul than the former kickboxer had originally intended to fight. On a recent episode of Logan’s podcast Impaulsive, the Paul brothers discussed the potential matchup. Both were sceptical as to whether Tate would be willing to enter the ring with either of them, as it might prove to be a risky endeavour for him.
“Jake, I know [Tate]’s been talking shit about you. With your blessing, can I beat the shit out of Andrew-fucking-Tate?” Logan asked his brother, to which Jake immediately consented.
“If my brother doesn’t fuck you up, I will, ” Jake added. “It has to go down.”
“I don’t think he gets in the ring with one of us,” Logan continued. “It’s too big of a risk for him. He’s an ‘alpha male’, right? That’s his whole entire thing. And when he loses – he will lose to either one of us he fights – his whole schtick and all the women will be like, ‘Yeah!’, and his whole schtick goes out the window.”
Tate is a credentialed kickboxer and a four-time former champion across two different divisions. His record in kickboxing is 43 wins and 9 losses, making him far more experienced than Logan. He has previously fought at both cruiserweight and light heavyweight.
