Colby Covington calls out “privileged” Lebron James for fight

“I’d make Lebron James eat the canvas in half the amount of time"

This weekend’s boxing event featuring the return of Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr certainly had it’s fair share of accompanying storylines. Tyson seemed to be in great form, and YouTube star Logan Paul won big and then called out the likes of Conor McGregor and Dillon Danis. Paul knocked out former NBA player Nate Robinson, and now former interim UFC champ Colby Covington is taking aim at Lebron James – Once again.

Taking to social media for the first time since Donald Trump lost the United States, Covington fired shots at the NBA star.

“Heard they finally scraped @nate_robinson’s carcass off the @staplescenter floor,” Covington wrote on Twitter. “I’d make @kingjames eat the canvas in half the amount of time. Everyone knows current @NBA players are the softest and most privileged athletes on the planet.”

This is hardly the first time Covington has lashed out James, though. He has gone out on social media to call James a “communist millionaire” amongst other things.

“My Grandfather is a Veteran of both Vietnam and The Korean War,” Covington wrote. “One day isn’t enough to thank these heroes for their service. Stop looking up to cry baby communist millionaires like @KingJames and start looking up to the real heroes of your country and community. The Veterans.”

Over the past few years however, Covington has adapted an antagonistic role, playing spoiler and never backing down from trash talk.

Covington bounced back from a TKO loss to current welterweight champion Kamaru Usman at UFC 245 with a dominant win most recent outing. He faced former champion Tyron Woodley at UFC Vegas 11 in September, winning via fifth round TKO.

Do you think C0lby Covington and Lebron James will ever fight?
