TRT Vitor Belfort back? See the UFC legend’s crazy transformation!
Based on what many MMA fans around the world are saying, it seems like Vitor Belfort is back on TRT.
Earlier this year it became official: Former UFC champion and Brazilian legend; Vitor “The Phenom” Belfort, has signed with ONE Championship. While the opponent has been revealed in behemoth Alain Ngalani, a date and venue has not been announced.
Belfort became known for his outrageous knockout power, and outlandish physique, despite being in his mid 30’s when seemingly being at his peak. Some of this, however, has been attributed to Belfort using testosterone replacement therapy (TRT).
Most athletic commissions and the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) have now banned TRT due to the effects it has on it’s users. However, ONE Championship are much more lenient with drug testing than the UFC are.
Therefore, debate has sparked up about Belfort and TRT, after that the Brazilian revealed a picture showing the current shape he is in.

Belfort earned a title shot upon returning to the UFC and racking up three straight KO wins. However he ended his UFC run on a 1-4, 1 NC record, following the termination of his TRT therapy.
In terms of sheer physique, one would be hard pressed to find a better opponent than Ngalani, who has also become quite well known for the incredible shape he is in.
“Vitor Belfort is a legend, there’s no denying that,” Ngalani said. “To me it’s a privilege to meet him in ONE Championship. I’m looking to redeem myself and this fight is bringing me a lot of excitement. It brings the motivation and lights a new fire in me.”
While there has been no official reports regarding any substances or treatments that Belfort is undergoing, there is no doubting that his physique brings back memories of the controversial TRT treatment.
