San Antonio mass shooter claims to be UFC fighter – Dana White speaks out
In an awful event in San Antonio in which eight people were shot, the shooter claims to be a UFC fighter, something the promotion is hoping to be a lie.
The tragedy began on Saturday when a group were turned away from a San Antonio bar for being too inebriated. All this is according to San Antonio Police Chief William McManus. One of the members of the group exclaimed “Don’t you know who I am? I’m a UFC fighter from California,” McManus said. The man then walked to his car, picked up a large rifle, and proceeded to open fire on people in the vicinity of the bar.
Five women and three men were hit and injured, though their conditions are unknown, luckily no one died. Once again Chief McManus informed the public of the stable state of the victims.

Unsurprisingly, UFC president Dana White was asked about the San Antonio shooter and the possibility of him being a UFC fighter.
“If you don’t think that I heard about that one at 7 a.m. this morning. You know what I mean? I hope it’s not true,” White said to the media a t the post fight press conference for UFC on ESPN 10. “But I hear that all the time. You know how many bald guys in this town walk around and say they’re me. It’s mind boggling. If I told you some of these stories, you wouldn’t believe it. I’m hoping that is the case.”
As of now the man is still at large, and the police are searching for him.
There have been som despicable men who have committed horrible crimes and also fought in the UFC. Joe Son and Jon Koppenhaver are both currently in prison for heinous crimes against women. It seems, however, unlikely that the San Antonio shooter currently competes in the UFC.
