UFC boss Dana White reveals his favourite knockout ever
With so many bouts having transpired over the years there are hundreds of knockouts in the UFC. Many classics are routinely placed amongst the best knockouts in UFC history. Some of these include Dan Henderson’s vicious overhand right knockout of bitter rival Michael Bisping, or Anderson Silva’s front kick finish of Vitor Belfort. UFC president Dana White has another favourite knockout in the UFC, however.
In an AMA on Reddit, White shared his pick, and it is Jorge Masvidal’s brutal flying knee KO of Ben Askren at UFC 239.
“When I give you this answer everyone is going to think it’s because I don’t like Ben Askren. And it’s just not true at all. I do like Ben. But it’s hard not to pick Masvidal vs Askren”

Not only is Masvidal’s knockout of Askren White’s favourite, but it’s also the fastest knockout in UFC history at just five seconds. It was the result of a tenuous build up to the fight between the welterweights, a period marred by trash talk.
Since then, Masvidal has gone on to become of the biggest stars in the UFC. His entertaining, down to earth persona and veteran experience, along with his exciting fighting style has made him immensely popular. He most recently competed at UFC 244, finishing Nate Diaz via TKO (doctor stoppage) to win the inaugural BMF title.
