UFC star Paige VanZant faces backlash for nude pictures with husband
Believe it or not, but MMA fans have managed to tire of nude pictures of Paige VanZant.
Many people are taking to new hobbies and ways of occupying themselves during these hectic times. Some are even making the best of the situation, growing their brands or creating content. Several MMA fighters around the world are keeping a much more active presence on social media, such as Sean O’Malley’s parody of Tony Ferguson.
A common saying in business and marketing is that “sex sells”. While this is usually the case, one of the UFC’s biggest stars learned that the aforementioned style of publicity isn’t always well received.
Paige VanZant is one of many UFC fighters coping with pandemic quarantine, alongside her husband; Bellator fighter Austin Vanderford. The couple have taken to posting naked pictures of themselves, with only parts of their bodies obscured. While this was mostly well received, VanZant is now facing backlash over the nude pictures.

Six of VanZant’s seven last posts on social media have been of her and Vanderford naked. However fans managed to tire of the nude pictures of VanZant.
“You guys need more attention than a Covid-19 patient,” one fan wrote. “Please stop this cringey shit,” another added. “When’s the onlyfans account coming,” one asked, implying a more scandalous turn.
While certainly done in jest, even nudity can become tiresome for many fans.
Vanzant has been out of action for over a year, sidelined by an arm injury that has required surgery. In her last outing in the UFC she defeated Rachel Ostovich via armbar in the second round. That win snapped a two fight skid for VanZant, who remains one of the biggest stars in the division.
