Khabib Nurmagomedov rips “old prostitute” Conor McGregor
There is still clearly bad blood between UFC champ Khabib Nurmagomedov and rival Conor McGregor, as the former called the Irishman an “old prostitute” in a recent interview.
Some feuds will seemingly never die down. Certain rivalries can be settled inside the cage, but there are times where the ill will is so strong that it continues after that the fight is over. The bad blood between UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and superstar Conor McGregor is a testament to certain feuds being exceptionally strong. The two took jabs at each other long before finally facing off at UFC 229 – And have continued to do so since.
Recently McGregor tried to join a live stream that Nurmagomedov was holding with his fans, getting shut out by his Russian nemesis. McGregor also tried to inject himself into the conversation regarding UFC 249, which Nurmagomedov recently withdrew from.

Nurmagomedov addressed the tension in a new interview.
“McGregor says he’s always in good shape, but when I smashed his face last time, he said it was [because he was in] bad shape,” Nurmagomedov said in an interview with ESPN.
“This guy is fake. Inside the cage he’s zero. Everyone talks about his stand up. I stayed with him all rounds…
“He looks like an old prostitute who wants attention, his time is done,” Khabib said of Conor McGregor.
Regardless of what McGregor may be hinting at and implying, there’s little chance of seeing him in the octagon again soon. The global Covid-19 pandemic has made it near impossible to hold sporting events, which was what led to Nurmagomedov pulling out of UFC 249. He was scheduled to defend his title against long time rival Tony Ferguson. However the UFC lightweight champ was stranded in his native Russia after that the country implemented strict travel bans.
At this moment it’s tough to say when the UFC will be up and running again. It is possible, though unlikely, that UFC 249 will go down with a new main event.
