See young Khabib Nurmagomedov HEAD BUTT his opponent in early fight!
Khabib Nurmagomedov is without a doubt one of the greatest MMA fighters of this generation. With 28 wins and no defeats, no fighter has come close to beating the Dagestani, who holds the UFC lightweight champion. In the UFC he has battered his opponents with vicious ground and pound and a variety of techniques. There’s something we’ve never seen Nurmagomedov do in the UFC; head butt. That is mainly because that technique is not allowed in the unified rules of MMA – used by the UFC.
Using your head to strike is, however, allowed in several regional Russian promotions. Recently a video was shared on Twitter, showing an early Nurmagomedov fight in which he can head butt his opponent.

As of now Nurmagomedov sits on a 12 fight winning streak, including wins over top-tier competition like Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor. His next title defence will be on UFC 248 against former interim champ Tony Ferguson. Their fight which takes place in Brooklyn on April 18th, has now been booked for the fifth time. In a bizarre twist of bad luck all their previous four bouts have been cancelled due to injury or illness.
Ferguson is seen by many as the fighter with the biggest possibility to defeat Nurmagomedov. Ferguson possesses an extremely unorthodox style, is dangerous off of his back and has a penchant for cutting his opponents. He also sits on a 12 fight winning streak, including finishes of Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone, Kevin Lee and Anthony Pettis.
