See how the MMA community pays massive respect to Kobe Bryant

The tragid passing of Kobe Bryant hit the MMA community hard, see how MMA stars paid respect to the fallen basketball legend

Sunday began as a normal end to the week for most of the MMA community. The results from UFC Raleigh and Bellator 238 made up most of the headlines, but then tragedy struck, and condolences began to flow. The world famous basketball and LA Lakers star Kobe Bryant had tragically died in a helicopter crash, along with his daughter and all others on board. Afterwards, the MMA community was quick to pay respects to Bryant, all he accomplished and the legacy he will leave.

Future MMA legends such as Daniel Cormier, Israel Adesanya, Michael Bisping and Jorge Masvidal were among those who paid respects and offered condolences. The amount of love that poured from the MMA community was certainly also telling of how much of an inspiration Bryant was. His influence transcended the sport of basketball, and he will be sorely missed.

Former MMA double champ Cormier was one of the first to offer condolences to Kobe Bryant and his family.

 

Former middleweight champ Bisping reminded his followers to be grateful and take advantage of the time we have.

“I am beyond sorry for the loss of Kobe Bryant and all fellow passengers on that fateful flight,” Bisping wrote. “He left a legacy few can hold a candle to. Remember, tomorrow is not guaranteed, LIVE YOUR FUCKING LIFE!!!”
