See how the MMA community pays massive respect to Kobe Bryant
Sunday began as a normal end to the week for most of the MMA community. The results from UFC Raleigh and Bellator 238 made up most of the headlines, but then tragedy struck, and condolences began to flow. The world famous basketball and LA Lakers star Kobe Bryant had tragically died in a helicopter crash, along with his daughter and all others on board. Afterwards, the MMA community was quick to pay respects to Bryant, all he accomplished and the legacy he will leave.
Future MMA legends such as Daniel Cormier, Israel Adesanya, Michael Bisping and Jorge Masvidal were among those who paid respects and offered condolences. The amount of love that poured from the MMA community was certainly also telling of how much of an inspiration Bryant was. His influence transcended the sport of basketball, and he will be sorely missed.
