Remains from UFC fighter’s stepdaughter believed to be found
The case of UFC fighter Walt Harris’ missing stepdaughter has taken a tragic turn.
Authorities has found human remains that they have “strong reason to believe” belong to Aniah Blanchard. 19-year-old Blanchard has been reportedly missing since Oct. 24.
Law enforcement discovered the remains in a wooden area in Shorter, Alabama, after receiving information regarding the missing case. The news came shortly after a third suspect had been arrested: David Lee Johnson Jr.
These are the people that have been arrested so far:
Ibraheem Yazeed
The main suspect has a long criminal record, including previous charges of kidnapping and attempted murder of an officer. He was out on bail when he became connected to the case. An eye witness saw Yazeed force Blanchard into a vehicle and drive off. He has been charged with first-degree kidnapping and denied bond.
Antwain “Squirmy” Fisher
35-year-old Fisher has been charged with first-degree kidnapping. According to the court, Fisher gave Yazeed a ride and helped him to dispose of evidence. He is to be held without bond, waiting to appear for a hearing on Dec. 18.
David Lee Johnson Jr
David Lee Johnson Jr. has been charged with hindering prosecution of the case of Blanchard. Because of gag order, no more information is available. Johnson Jr has a $7,500 bond.

What has happened
First, the police did not suspect foul play in relation to the 19-year-old, who was last seen on Oct. 23. The day after her disappearance, Harris pleaded on social media to help him locate his stepdaughter.
UFC President Dana White and Jon Jones helped to kick start the reward money that ultimately ended in over $100,000.
Blood and evidence was later found in Blanchard’s car and Yazeed was tied to the case after a witness identified him.
Harris and his family kept wishing that Blanchard would turn up alive, but now it seems like this case got a tragic finale.
