Jorge Masvidal gives perfect response to Conor McGregor’s cocky claim
Jorge Masvidal can’t seem to do anything wrong these days. After winning the UFC’s BMF title against Nate Diaz in early November, Masvidal has been the name on everybody’s lips.
When ESPN asked their MMA fans what super fight they want to see Masvidal and Conor McGregor in next, “The Notorious” McGregor was quick to make a cocky claim:
“I’ll go at anyone on that list,” McGregor wrote.
I’ll go at anyone on that list.

Jorge Masvidal vs. Conor McGregor?
I did not take long before Masvidal answered McGregor with a Tweet, claiming that he is the real fight for the Irishman and that McGregor should accept a fight with him:
“Put your money where your mouth is I’m the only 1 #1of1 #theresurrection,” Masvidal answered McGregor

Masvidal won three times in 2019
McGregor has not competed in MMA since his submission loss against UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov in early October 2018.
Before that, McGregor took almost a two-year break from the sport, after becoming UFC’s first double-champion at UFC 205. Masvidal competed three times in 2017, but then took all of 2018 off, before returning to the cage against Darren Till in March this year.
Masvidal became the first to knockout Till, and he was then matched up against Ben Askren. With a thunderous knee, only seconds into the fight, Masvidal finished Askren and broke the record for Fastest knockout in UFC history.
Four months later he took home the BMF title and had his most successful year ever. Now he could be involved in another mega fight.
It is not the first time that Masvidal and McGregor has been going back-and-forth. After Masvidal’s impressive win against Diaz, McGregor tweeted that he wanted a piece of Masvidal.
Now, there is a small possibility we could see that fight.
Hey @BurgerKing, could I get a 3 piece with soda and a side chicken box please? Loads of salt and vinegar. Thanks
