Derrick Lewis gets opponent for February showdown
Derrick Lewis has a dance partner ahead of a UFC event targeted for Houston in 2020.
Ilir Latifi, the former UFC light heavyweight from Sweden will move up a weight class and take on “The Black Beast” Lewis on February 8, according to ESPN’s Brett Okamoto.

Derrick Lewis won in early November
Derrick Lewis had been finished by both Daniel Cormier and Junior dos Santos when he competed at UFC 244 on Nov.2 against Blagoy Ivanov.
The two heavyweights engaged in an exciting back-and-forth brawl that Lewis ultimately won via split decision.
Sweden’s Latifi is looking to get back to his winning ways after losing his last two bouts against Corey Anderson and Volkan Oezdemir. Prior to that, the powerful Swede defeated both Tyson Pedro and Ovince Saint-Preux.
