Khabib Nurmagomedov GOES OFF on Conor McGregor: “Go to jail”
It’s safe to say that Khabib Nurmagomedov’s opinion of Conor McGregor hasn’t improved.
This week a video went viral, showing former UFC champion Conor McGregor punching an elderly man in the face at a Dublin Bar. The act has been widely condemned by the MMA community, though UFC president Dana White took a more understanding and diplomatic approach when commenting on it. That is not the case in regards to McGregor’s arch rival Khabib Nurmagomedov.

In a video released by TMZ, a visibly irritated Nurmagomedov conveyed his disgust at McGregor’s actions.
“I can imagine if I punch this guy, how many media are going to post it and talk about this bad, like about me bad,” Nurmagomedov. “It’s like a really really bad thing, you know? Even if old guy like this guy in video, even if this guy punch your face 10 times, you can’t punch this guy’s face. You can’t. This is like impossible, you know? We have to respect old people.”
This incident was, unfortunately, only the latest in a long string of controversies for McGregor. After this latest scandal, the reigning UFC lightweight champion thinks that McGregor should be jailed.
“Some fans sent me a message (and) said, ‘Hey, you remember when he tried to give you his whiskey, like alcohol, and you didn’t take it? But why he don’t punch you now he go crazy with old people? I don’t understand this. I think like this, people have to go to jail.
“They have to go jail like we have problem with visa, why like this (expletive) guy don’t have problems with visa in the U.S.A.? How (can the) U.S.A. give him a visa, or something like this?”
“No class, no respect”
Relations between Nurmagomedov and McGregor haven’t improved in the least following their bout at UFC 229. While Nurmagomedov dished out his fair share of controversy after their fight, which the Dagestani won via fourth round submission, he feels a line has been crossed here.
“I told you guys, this guy has no class, no respect, this is very bad for sport,” Nurmagomedov said. “Some things he’s doing (are) good for sport, but right now he’s without his mind. He lose his mind. (The) government has to smash him.
“Ireland government, where are you guys? Send him location. Send him location, and that’s it.”
Nurmagomedov is scheduled to defend his lightweight title against Dustin Poirier at UFC 242 in Abu Dhabi, September 7th.
