Bellator 224 results: Julia Budd steamrolls challenger
Bellator 224 is now in the books, and it was an event that went out with a bang, as the results will tell. The main event featured a title bout in women’s featherweight as Julia Budd put her championship belt on the line against challenger Olga Rubin. Budd left little room for the challenger to get started, though, as the champion landed a perfectly placed body kick that led to the end of the fight. Rubin, clearly affected by the shot, fell into a defensive shell as Budd swarmed with punches and knees that forced the referee to stop the fight in the first round.
