Ohmbet were the first to release breaking betting lines for the recently announced bout. Despite his losing streak, Oezdemir enters the fight as a slight favorite at 1.65, whereas Latifi is underdog at 2.15.
Latifi, as of now the only active, Swedish UFC light heavyweight, scored two straight wins entering 2018, beatin Tyson Pedro by decision and choking out Ovince Saint Preux via guillotine. His momentum was then halted at UFC 232 as a disappointing performance saw him lose to Corey Anderson via decision.
Oezdemir challenged the the UFC light heavyweight title in 2018 following three straight wins in the division. He was though handily beaten by then champion Daniel Cormier, and proceeded to lose his following two bouts. His most recent loss however, came via a controversial and critiqued split decision to Dominick Reyes.
